Warranty/Damage Policy and Procedures

At RestorePontoon.com, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to handling all warranty claims professionally and efficiently.


General Warranty Information

For products covered under warranty, repair or replacement is the exclusive remedy. All incidental or consequential damages arising from warranty claims are excluded. Any implied warranties are limited to the duration of the original express warranty.


Filing a Warranty Claim

Please follow these steps to submit your warranty claim:

Step 2: Include the Following in Your Claim

  • Full Name, Address, Phone Number, and Email

  • Order Number and Date of Original Purchase

  • Product Description

  • Detailed Description of the Issue or Defect

  • Clear Photos of:

    • The entire product

    • The defect or damage

    • The law tag (if applicable)

📸 Photos are REQUIRED to process any warranty claim. Claims submitted without images will not be reviewed.


Return Authorization (RA) Required

Do not return any product without a Return Authorization Number. Unauthorized returns or returns sent freight collect will be refused and may cause additional delays and costs.

Once your claim is reviewed and approved, we’ll provide instructions on how to proceed. In some cases, we may:

  • Replace the product and request the damaged item be returned, or

  • Pick up the item for repair

To begin, email us your order number, problem description, and images. After review, you’ll receive your RA number and instructions.


Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims

  • Customers are responsible for properly packaging and shipping warranty items to our facility.

  • If the warranty is approved, RestorePontoon.com will cover return shipping and repair or replacement.

  • If the claim is denied, return shipping to the customer is at their own expense.


Important Notes

  • Use caution when opening packaged products. Damage caused by cutting into vinyl with sharp tools is not covered under warranty.

  • Custom-made or modified items are not eligible for return or warranty if altered after delivery.


Product-Specific Warranties

Bimini Tops

  • Sunbrella Bimini: 10-Year Warranty - Fabric, 1 Year Manufacturer Defects

  • Polyester Bimini: 1-Year Warranty

  • Marine Accessories/Frames: 1-Year Warranty

  • General Manufacturer Defects: 1 Years

Warranty exclusions include misuse, over-speed use (25+ mph), improper installation, exposure damage, and any unauthorized alterations.

MariDeck Vinyl Flooring (by DeckRite LLC)

  • 2-Year Prorated Warranty on manufacturer defects (if properly installed and maintained)

  • Covers only the membrane, not installation or boat components

  • Excludes natural disasters, misuse, structural issues, and chemical damage

Wise Boat Furniture

  • Vinyl Upholstery and Frames: 2 Years

  • Warranties are void if used commercially or improperly installed

Ladders (T-H Marine - JIF Marine)

  • 1-Year

  • Normal wear on rubber/plastic and misuse are not covered

Power Arm Biminis (Schwintek Inc.)

  • 1-Year Limited Warranty

  • Excludes misuse, improper installation, and damage caused by unapproved accessories

Marine Carpet (Lancer Enterprises)

  • 2-Year Limited Warranty for UV degradation (16 oz. weight or more)

  • Excludes stairs, improper installation, spills, or chemical damage

Luxury Woven Vinyl Flooring

  • 5-Year Limited Warranty (non-commercial use only)

  • Excludes chemical stains, misuse, poor installation, and excessive sun or moisture exposure


Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete:

  1. Contact us within 14 days of delivery. Claims made after this may be subject to fees or rejection.

  2. Keep original packaging—it may be needed for returns.

  3. Take digital photos of:

    • Shipping label

    • Box (showing damage)

    • Product (showing damage)

  4. Email your claim to customerservice@restorepontoon.com with:

    • Photos

    • Your name, order number, item description, and tracking number

    • Detailed description of the damage

Processing Time

  • Please allow up to 7 business days to process your warranty or damage claim.

  • Approved replacements typically ship within 5–10 business days.
