Furniture Cleaning & Care Instructions

Marine-grade upholstery is designed to withstand sun, heat, rain, and normal wear—but proper care is essential to maintain its appearance and longevity.

General Care Tips:

• Keep it covered: Use a ventilated cover to protect against UV damage, leaf and pollen stains, and to reduce cleaning time. Avoid using non-breathable plastic tarps or bags, which can trap moisture and cause mold, mildew, or pink staining. Damage from improper covers is not covered under warranty.

• Avoid UV damage: Camo-printed vinyl is particularly susceptible to fading from excessive sun exposure.

• Stay away from harsh cleaners: Do not use bleach, solvents, abrasive cleaners, or harsh detergents. Avoid sunscreen contact with vinyl as it may cause permanent damage.

• No power washing: Power washers (up to 3500 psi) can destroy upholstery. Damage from power washing is not covered under warranty.

Stain Management:
Stains are among the most common threats to marine vinyl. Prompt and proper cleaning is key to avoiding permanent discoloration. Clean spills immediately to preserve your pontoon's appearance.

Vinyl Cleaning Guide

• Always keep upholstery clean and dry.

• Wipe down seats weekly with a damp cloth and dry with a towel.

• For deeper cleaning: Use warm water with mild dish soap and a soft brush. Specialty marine vinyl cleaners are also recommended for tougher grime.

Mildew & Moisture Tips:

• Marine vinyl resists mildew, but poor ventilation—especially in humid or winter storage conditions—can still cause buildup.

• To clean mildew, use warm soapy water and a soft brush.

• Do not soak your vinyl regularly; while water-resistant, seams can absorb moisture and fray.

• Always test any cleaning product in a hidden area before full use.
